A slightly slimmer take on the classic: this maple end grain cutting board is 20 x 14.5 inches and 2 inches thick — a touch lighter to handle than our 2.25" block while keeping the same self-healing end grain surface and hard-maple durability. Ideal if you want the traditional butcher-block look in an easier-to-lift board. Milled from redeemed hardwood in our family shop in Grabill, Indiana.
End grain built to last. Vertical fibers flex around the knife and close back up, so the surface stays smooth and your knives stay sharp far longer than on an edge grain or plastic board.
Juice groove. Keeps juices contained during meal prep and carving.
Rubber feet + finger grips. Steady footing, good airflow for drying, and an easy grip for a solid maple block.
Handcrafted in Indiana. American hard maple, milled and finished with food-safe oil in our own shop.
